There are over a billion Catholic around the world. There are also so many movies that include rituals of the Catholic Church. The most popular ones are the Godfather movies. In one of the Godfather movies there is at least one baptism scene. Baptism is a very important sacrament for Catholics; babies are dressed in Baptism outfits and are blessed by a priest.
Baptism outfits are usually very formal. They involve a Baptismal gown. The Baptismal gown is usually placed on top of the baby’s clothes regardless of whether the baby is a boy or a girl. During Baptism, the baby is formally welcomed into the Catholic faith. This event is also witnessed by Godparents who are supposed to take over the parents role in case the child’s parents die or are not available.
